10 days of Thanksgiving project: Truly Grateful Card!

I love crafting for the holidays! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I’m hoping that my kids can make it home so we can have our traditional family weekend. We always have a family game and movie night with a fairly cut-throat game of Scrabble or Clue (the Office version). I have to say that I make the best words, but my husband and my daughter both have ruthless strategies when they play.

I always find that I have plenty of time to make all kinds of handmade projects at Thanksgiving because the craze of the season hasn’t really hit yet. I love making my table centerpieces and place settings. I can’t wait to share these projects with you.

For my first project, I’m sharing a Truly Grateful card because it is time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew card sketch!

Oh, tell me that Blackberry Bliss is not calling out to you. It is just a stunner of a color! You can imagine that I will be featuring this color in many of my 10 Days of Thanksgiving projects!

I’d also like you to notice the acorns in this card. I colored them with two colors instead of my usual one color. I was shocked by the difference using the two colors made!

Here is the original Paper Craft Crew sketch. I LOVE this sketch. It’s one of the simplest, yet classiest layouts for a card!
