Celebrate Baby using a Nacho sketch challenge! Yes…I said Nacho. It’s a design challenge group that I’ve just discovered. I found the Clean and Simple Sketch inspiring, so I created two cards!
The card sketch is delightfully clean and simple. You can see that my color scheme came directly from the Lullaby Designer Paper on the left. This is all Coastal Cabana, Hello Honey, Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar and Whisper White.
The stamp set is the Celebrate Baby set that has one great image, which I’ve used on this card. It has several wonderful sentiments that includes a gorgeous script BABY sentiment. That would be great with this sketch also. Of course I had to make it and see!
This is the back of the designer paper used in the first card! Here, my color scheme is simply Crisp Cantaloupe, Hello Honey and Whisper White. Again, my color scheme was selected because of the Lullaby Designer Paper that I used.
Same stamp set, same set of designer paper, same card sketch…two great baby cards!
Here is the Nacho Average Challenge Sketch that I started with:
You can see how I used the sketch on each card and gave it my own little twist each time. The first card has the sentiment turned on it’s side. The second sketch has the image moved down with the sentiment above it. Same sketch, minor changes that make it my own interpretation!
