Beautiful cards. I am a little bit past the beginner stage. Making cards for family and friends for now.
Enjoy! Every now and then, it’s fun to step back and make a clean and simple card!

Hi. I’m hoping to start stamping/embossing and could do with advice on exactly what to go buy for my first attempts. I have a small heat gun and some card but not at all sure what to get, next. Can you advise, please?
I am in the UK

You will need a versa mark ink pad and some embossing powder along with your heat tool. I would select white embossing powder to start with because it looks great with so many things. Silver and black would be my next two choices.
Hi, I have just come across your site. I then found “free tutorials” starting from 2015, but when I went to the section all I found was ” people’s thoughts” and no tutorials, does that mean they are no longer available? Cheers and thankyou.
There are two links in blue right above the comments that are printable freebies! Thanks for discovering my sight. You can expect more freebies in 2020.
Love your video’s and all the cool tips. On one of the video’s I watched were you heat embossed on velum, I’m curious where you got the handy little box you have the powder and spoon in?
Thank you! I bought a couple of the containers at the dollar store, but they are very hard to open. I found some better ones at my local grocery store. The little spoons are sundae spoons from Michaels in the cake and candy decorating isle. I’ve also seen the containers at Home Goods and on Amazon. The brand name of the one I used in the video (the brand I like) is Systema. The clip is just one of those 3M cord clips that you get a bunch in the package at the hardware store or the grocery store. I use my embossing powders so much more now that I keep them in containers like this.
