3 Fun Card Ideas with Stampin’ Up!s Pretty Petites!

I love punches.  There is no question that I like to play around with them and find new ways to use them!  Punches, framelits and Big Shot Dies make card making so much easier.  No more fussy cutting with paper snips!  You can get fun shapes with a punch or framelit.

prettypetitescardsetThe petite curly label punch (#129405) is an item that you can get for free during Sale-A-Bration.  This is the only item in the SAB brochure that is going to be included in the new annual catalog that comes out in June.  You will be able to purchase this petite punch when SAB ends.  You won’t be able to purchase any of the other items!  When March 22 gets here, they are gone for good.  Sadly.  I’ve loved these toys!

prettypetitescardHow cute is this?  I would never have spent any amount of time cutting out all of those cute little curly pieces.  Enter the Petite Curly Label Punch!  Love it!  There is another stamp set in the Spring Catalog called Ciao,Baby (#129648) that this punch works with as well.  This stamp set featured in today’s card set is the Pretty Petite Stamp Set (#129642)and it  is one of the free SAB items that is only available for 3 more days.  Get it while you can.

The ribbon and the patterned paper featured on these cards are also free SAB items.  These are the Sycamore Street Papers and the Sycamore Street Ribbons and Buttons.  The rest of my color palette is Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango, Summer Starfruit and Whisper White.  I also used pearls and my Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (#118309) to embellish this as well.

prettypetitiesThis is another layout with the same basic supplies.  I used two additional items on this card: the curly label punch (#119851) and the Sycamore Street button with a giant pearl.  How adorable are these little Pretty Petite stamps?  Can’t you just imagine what cute tags they would make for a gift or even a tag for a candy treat?

prettypetitecard3I turned this layout sideways and used two more of the pretty petites.  You can see that I’ve popped the petites up on a dimensional for a little added texture.  I was tempted to fill the blank space with buttons, but the Sycamore Street DSP is so busy in the background, I decided that less is more!  This is my last piece of Sycamore Street paper!!!  I LOVED some of the patterns in this series of paper.

prettypetitiestreatI had one final stamp left in the pretty petite collection.  Since it said “Yum”, I thought I should use it to decorate a treat.  You can’t really see it, but there is a Cheryl’s Oatmeal Scotchie in that package…for now anyway.  They are pretty yummy.  Not as yummy as the chocolate frosted brownies that Chery’s carries, but still yummy.  I’ll confirm that after dinner just to be sure.
