Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers and Hello Gorgeous

By | 18 October, 2018

Altenew has done it again!!

They’ve got another great new product for watercoloring called Watercolor Brush Markers.  This is a set of 10 waterbrushes filled with Altenew’s gorgeous inks.

These are very much like water brushes filled with watercolor paint instead of water.  You can paint directly on watercolor paper or put them on your craft mat or clear block and paint from there.

I really enjoyed experimenting with these brush markers today.  Stamping Imperfection Watercolor Brush Markers

I was so surprised at how vibrant the colors came out to be.  I tried a wet-on-wet technique and a wet-on-dry technique.  I made a swatch page in my swatch book before I started as well.  I will share that tomorrow because it is so pretty!

The stamp set is the Hello Gorgeous stamp set from Altenew.  They don’t make ugly stamp sets or inks and watercolors that I don’t like…I think I may be there best customer.

They accidentally sent me the wrong die in one of my orders last week.  I emailed them to let them know that I would mail it back and asked if the could send me the one that I ordered.  They emailed me right back and told me to keep that die and enjoy it.  I received the die I ordered two days later.  That email was from the Customer Happiness Team!  They really made me happy!!  GOOD JOB Altenew Happiness Team!  You have to love that!!

(Incidentally, a similar thing happened a couple of months ago with another stamp company.  They sent me someone else’s order.  I emailed them immediately because this did not belong to me and I did not pay for it.  I did not hear back from them for over a week.  I thought they would email me a prepaid return label to send it back, but they asked me to send it back and they would credit me the cost of shipping.  I have not heard back from them nor have they credited me the return shipping, which I realize was only $7, but hey…not my mistake.  I’m thinking they might need a customer happiness team like Altenew has.  I find myself reluctant to order from that company or to recommend anyone order from them. I probably should have sent it to the actual customer, because her invoice was in the box with the order. I wonder how long she waited for her stuff.)

I created a video to share my first experience with these watercolor brush markers making this card:
