Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge: Clean and Simple

By | 02/26/2019

This week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge inspired me to use a couple of new tools that I recently treated myself to.  Check out this card:

I used Catherine Pooler’s aquatini and lime rickey inks to create the flower and leaves using the Bloomin’ Bouquet and Die set from a Stamp of Approval from long ago.  I still love it!  That sentiment is fantastic and is heat embossed in black WOW embossing powder.

My semicircle background use peacock feathers, seedless preserves, broken china and squeezed lemonade distress oxide inks blended with my new Picket Fence blender brushes.  WOW!!!  They really are life changing.

I spritzed that with my distress sprayer of water.  Then I added a layer of Sunny Daze glitter from Sparkle-n-Sprinkle over a layer of double sided tape.  POW!  What a spectacular color!!!

I also used my Picket Fence circle masks.  I’m so glad I got those!  They work perfectly with the brushes to give a quickly blended shape.

This card took minutes to put together.

Here is the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge that I used to create the card layout:

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I’m sorry that I don’t have time to link to all the products that I used for this card…maybe I can get to that tomorrow!

Have a great day!
