Clean and Simple Christmas!

If someone required me to make cards in one style, I would pick clean and simple.  This week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge is a clean and simple sketch.  Sometimes less is more.

I don’t know what I find so appealing about a fairly monochromatic color scheme and a lot of empty space on a card.

I used the Seasonal Layers Thinlets Dies for the snowflakes and the background cutouts.  I placed the subtle snowstorm-like patterned paper from the Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper below for a subtle punch of color.  The silver embossing for the sentiment from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and the Glitter Enamel Dots added an extra touch.

You can also see that I added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella on the snowflakes and on the designer paper below the cutout.  Up close it looks very sparkly and shimmery.  Pictures never do the Wink of Stella justice!
