Clean And Simple Love Card With Copics

By | 02/06/2019

I have been a physics teacher for 30 years.  Before that, I worked in a hospital lab for 5 years.  I spent 4 years of college and 2 years of grad school working in labs.

The Cute Chemists stamp and die set from My Favorite Things makes me happy!

It’s adorable and it embraces the nerdy lab girl inside me!

It is also perfect for practicing my Copic coloring!

I’m entering my card in two challenges this week.

The Just Us Girls Challenge this week is a LOVE challenge.  They said to go where ever the word takes you.  It takes me to the lab with a fun pun!

The second challenge is the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge which is a Clean and Simple Valentine, so I made sure to keep it to one layer with lot’s of white space.  I did add a few iridescent drops, but honestly the stamp set required them with a bubbling flask!

It sounds like this stamp set was made for you, Kim. You’ve colored her beautifully and the ‘bubbles’ were necessary to tie into the sentiment. Thanks for sharing your darling lab girl with us at Just Us Girls.
