Clean And Simple Sketch Challenge

By | 01/07/2020

This week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is a clean and simple sketch and for a change, I decided to stick with that plan!

Clean and Simple Sunlit Butterfly Kim Skinner

I confess that I got a bit overly zealous with my splatters on this card, but alas…they are always unpredictable!

I used Altenew’s Sunlit Butterflies die with two of their new ink colors swooshed onto paper.  This is Butternut and Yellow Ocher from their Fall Harvest ink set.

I added some black and white washi from my stash (only because I couldn’t find any of my blue washi tapes!).  The sentiment is from a fabulous Altenew set called More Than Words.

Quick and easy card to send someone and let them know you are thinking about them.

Here is the sketch that I started with:

I really love Michelle Stewart’s sketches.  She always leaves you room to add your own touches.
