I finally got a few of the new stamp sets in Stampin’ Up!’s 2016-2017 Annual Catalog. I was playing with the new Flirty Flamingo color because a friend created a challenge for us to create a card with our favorite new In Color from the 2016-2018 collection.
On one of the cards above, I stamped the solid dots with Blushing Bride and on the other, I stamped with Flirty Flamingo using the stamping off technique. I was trying to see which one I liked better. (To be honest…I don’t know which card is which unless I watch my own video again!) I’ve decided I like them both!
This is also a great demonstration on how to take a 3 x 3″ card and turning it into a regular A2 sized card (4-1/4 x 5-1/2″).
It’s also a great way to cover up a stamping blunder and salvage a card base! (I am ever the frugal crafter…)
I also love the combination of pink in any shade with Early Espresso ink.
Isn’t that thank you stamp fabulous??? That is my favorite stamp in the One Big Meaning stamp set. The set is all thank you sentiments and it’s a WOW! stamp set. If you don’t have a great set of thank you stamps in your stash, you need one.
