Create Your Own Journaling Cards For Your Project Life Albums!

I was browsing through Papercrafts & Scrapbooking magazine today and they shared a journaling card sketch.  I decided to use the sketch to create a couple of quick cards of my own.

This is a great way to use your scraps and that giant basket of stash in your craft room.  I know you have it.   We all do.

I have craft supplies from when my husband and I moved from Rochester to Long Island…in 1989!  Yes.  I said it.  I have craft supplies in my closed from 1989 that I have not used.  I know you have some too!  Real crafters like us have a stash of craft supplies somewhere!

Stamping Imperfection Journaling Cards

This was made with the December Wonder stamp set and the Snowflake Thinlets.  I used only scraps and these are from the All is Calm Designer Paper.

This is a close up.  You can see I’ve used a bunch of things from my stash.  I don’t always love pre-printed cards, so I’ve reluctantly embraced the Stampin’ Up! Project Life line of products.

Because they are Stampin’ Up! products, they coordinate with all of the color families, stamps, embellishments and papers.  It’s easy to add your own touches and to create your own cards to supplement what comes in the card sets.

Make it your own and add your own touches!!  Oh..and use that stash to embellish!

So that is washi tape along the bottom.  In retrospect, I’m wishing that I had adhered the tape to a strip of white card stock and then attaching it to the cherry cobbler.  You can’t really see the silver stripes.  You can see that I also need to re-ink my Silver Encore ink pad.  Otherwise…simple and all scraps!

Again, I’ve used the December Wonder stamp set and the Snowflake Thinlets.   (Can you tell that I love the December Wonder stamp set?!)

You can purchase the supplies you need to create your projects online at mystampingstore.com!

Thank you for visiting!  Happy December!
