Have you ever browsed an online stamp shop like Altenew and you think you’ve seen all the possible stamp sets they have. Then you look again and there is stuff you’ve never seen before and you wonder how you missed that fabulous stamp set?
That happened to me a couple of weeks ago when I found this cute Bunny Love stamp set on their website. It was just so cute and it will be perfect for practicing my alcohol marker coloring and my watercoloring.
Plus…the sentiments are too cute!
I know that this card has a lot going on, but I could not stop myself!
I used this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch to create the card with my own little twists!
I actually wanted to add a cloud image with the sentiment that says, “You’ve been missed”, but I thought I better stop adding things to the card.
The sketch looks so clean and simple, yet my card does not.
I wanted to do something with a spring touch for the layered strips between the circles, so I used a mini stamp and die set called Floral Elements from Altenew to create the flower and the leaves. I used the new Hydrangea ink along with the Shadow Creek green.
The smaller circle is colored with my NUVO embellishment mousse in Peony Pink. I love the shine. Here is a photo just to show you how much shine you get with this mousse:
It’s amazing! I’ve also added some of the MFT Stamps Sweet Stack 6 x 6″ paper and that influenced my color choices. The little bird is colored with my Copic markers. I fussy cut him out and popped him up to give him some dimension. I added some black and soft Arctic blue ink splatters, along with some white gouache. Then some spring mix sequins from my stash to make this really over the top!
