How to Make a Christmas Card in Less Than 10 Minutes!

Fast and Easy Christmas card

I loved how fast this card was to make!  It’s such a busy time of year that it’s difficult to squeeze that relaxing crafting time in.  This card made that easy to do!  Again, I’m using my scraps of left over paper.  If I use all of my Christmas paper up on projects this year, I can most certainly justify buying the new Designer Series Paper that Stampin’ Up! will no doubt come out with next year.  It is such an advantage to buy a package of the DSP.  I love that it is printed with different patterns on the two sides of the paper and they coordinate with each other.  If you are pattern challenged and never know if two patterns should be used together, you can be certain that these papers are designed to be used together.  Notice that on this card, I used 3 different patterns all from the same package of paper.  They all coordinate in some way.  Once again, I found myself using an embossing folder to add texture.  Wow!  What a difference I see in my cards when I add texture.

I don’t know who came up with the idea to use the corner punch on only two corners of the squares, but what a great look it gives the card.  I used several tools to make this card.  You can see that I used one of my square punches and my scallop oval punch.  The sentiment came from the Loving Thoughts stamped set.  All in all, I will be making more of these cards!
