Browsing an online store is fabulous, but there is nothing like holding that catalog in your hands!

If you have ordered from me online at mystampingstore.com during the last year, I have already ordered a catalog to be mailed to you.  I believe they begin sending them out in a week or two.

If you would like a catalog and you have a US mailing address, please send me an email at kim@stampingimperfection.com with your contact information including a phone number.  I would be happy to send you a catalog!

Tool Tip:  Photopolymer Stamps
Image
I love the new photopolymer stamps that Stampin’ Up! has been selling the last few months.  There will be several sets available in the new catalog on June 1.Here is an important tip for using them:  Do not use StazOn ink or StazOn Cleaner on the photopolymer stamp sets.  Apparently the solvent in the ink and cleaner will degrade the stamps over time.  Stick with the Stampin’ Mist spray to clean them.

Here is a project tutorial to inspire you!  Stamping Imperfection Mini Sticky Note Tutorial

post_it_topperSupplies:

·         2 by 2 sticky note pad

·         Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Petite Petal Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch

·         Designer Series Paper cut  2 x 6″

·         Cardstock (Melon Mambo, Whisper White and Basic Black)

·         Embellishments:  Rhinestone, Mini Brads

·         Paper Piercer

How to:

1.       Cut and Score the DSP by placing it horizontally into Simply Scored Tool and scored at 2, 2 1/4, 4 1/4 and 4 5/8″

2.       Use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch on the end with the larger segment.

3.       If your DSP is very busy, you may want to use some cardstock (also punched with scalloped tag topper punch) and line the scalloped flap with it by having just a narrow border at the scallops. This will also help the top flap closed better.

4.       After scoring all lines, the post-it note pad was added to DSP and both flags closed. The paper piercer was used to mark where the brad needs to be placed to hold the pad closed.  Attach the brad to the inside flap so that the tab punch opening slides over it.

5.       Decorate with your favorite punches like the Petite Petals Punch, the Boho Blossoms Punch and a rhinestone as shown in this picture.
