Organizing Ideas For Your Stamping Supplies!!!

By | 07/26/2013

I am constantly looking for new and pretty ways to keep my stamping supplies organized.  My goal is convenience and function. I don’t often worry about what something looks like!  I recently discovered Thirty-One products when I was invited to a party and my cousin, Jessica, started selling them.  I had two goals:  organize papers, tools and embellishments and try to find prettier solutions than I was using.

I have 3 ideas that I would like to share!

Idea 1:  The first is a product that I am now using to organize my paper scraps and it’s working really well!

I purchased 3 of these and use them to store my paper scraps.  This is the Fold N’ File (#3890) in the Party Punch color and it actually holds hanging file folders.  I use the expandable files with individual folders inside for each different color of card stock.  I have them organized with my Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Neutrals in one box, the Reds, Pinks, Oranges and Yellows in another and the Greens, Blues and Purples in the last one.  (Yes…in the order of the rainbow…Roy G Biv…like any good science teacher!)

I keep these on the counter right next to my craft table, so I have no excuses!  It’s within easy reach and I can easily grab my paper scrap folder.  I’m actually using my paper scraps before grabbing a new piece of card stock.  I’m also immediately filing my scraps into the folders so I’m not left with a giant pile of paper sitting in my way on my craft table.  LOVE it!

Idea 2:  The second product I would like to share is the Littles Carry-All Caddy (#3401 at only $12!).  The one I chose is in the Turquoise Cross Pop color which coordinates with the Party Punch Fold N’ File that I selected.  I actually ordered a few of these because they fit in the cubbies I have on my craft table.  I store all of my embossing folders in one right next to my Big Shot and then the others are used for things like my tools and clear blocks.

How perfect is this?  (I know you just said, “Pretty Perfect!”.)

Idea 3:  The final storage tool that I am loving is the new Wood Mount Cases that Stampin’ Up! now carries in the Annual Catalog!

I use these for so many things!  I LOVE it for my embellishments and sponges and daubers. I also use them for markers, extra stamped images, photopolymer stamp sets and so on!!!  I haven’t decorated them yet.  I’m planning on using my retired Designer Papers to slide into the plastic sleeve on the outside and then I’ll make some pretty labels with My Digital Studio for along the spines!  These store perfectly on the DVD shelves that I use for my stamp sets.

Keep in mind they come in sets of 4!

Full Size Wood Mount Cases…#127551  set of 4 for $6.95

Half Size Wood Mount Cases…#127552 set of 4 for $4.95
