Pretty Petals Clean And Simple Card

Need a quick and easy card that you can finish in just a few simple steps?  Check out this card that I CASEd from Stampin’ Up!

You know that I love the designer papers with big bold patterns.  I love making a really beautiful paper the focal point of my cards.

I also love a stamp set with some great sentiments and images.  The stamp set that I’ve used here is from the Tin of Cards Kit.  It comes with this great stamp set that includes several sentiments and some fabulous curly border images.  I’ll be using this set for scrapbook pages for sure!

The Pretty Petals Designer Paper Stack really makes this card easy.  I’ve used both sides of one piece of paper.  This way I’m assured that my papers coordinate.  One piece is cut at 3-1/2″ square and then one piece is cut at 1/2 x 3-1/2″.  They are attached to the card base next to each other and then I used two simple stamps to finish the card!

So simple!

Another pattern of the same stack resulted in a card with a different look!

I re-inked my StazOn pad just before stamping this.  You can see that my sentiment had a little too much ink!  When you re-ink your ink pads, give them some time before you start stamping with them.  This allows the ink to settle into the pad!
