So Many Shells Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge

By | 06/08/2017

This week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge is a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge and it has some interesting combinations!

Stamping Imperfection So Many Shells

For my card, I chose one of the diagonals that included the water element, the summer challenge and clean and simple.  I used the new and quite fabulous So Many Shells stamp set.  This is a two step stamp set with some really wonderful sentiments.

I used Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card stock.  For my inks, I used Crumb Cake, Powder Pink, Pool Party and Soft Suede. You can see the new Powder Pink Ribbon and the new Pool Party solid twine with one strand of my favorite standby…linen thread.  I also added a few pearls.

The background is just a wash using my aqua painter and the Powder Pink and Pool Party.  It’s such a quick and easy background.  I’ve been using it lately because I don’t have enough time to do time consuming techniques.

You probably can’t see it in my photo, but it is all covered with clear Wink of Stella.  What a tidy way to get some sparkle added to your project!

Check out this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge.  I encourage you to participate!

If you are wondering about my summer celebrations…gathering sea shells by the sound or along the bay beaches is one of our favorite summer hobbies!  Any time spent by the sea is a celebration!!!
