So Simple Tag Topper Treat Basket

So simple tag topper treat basket!  How cute would these be as favors or even a tiny treat to tuck in a lunch box?

These tag topper punches are really one of my favorite items from the Occasions catalog.  I’ve got several projects that I’ve created with them.  The one I’m sharing today is a simple little treat basket!

This is made very simply with a 2″ strip of pool party paper punched with the Scallop Tag Topper punch on both ends.  I scored it twice 1/2″ on each side of the center of the strip.  I also created a little box to attach the bottom with a 3 x 4″ piece scored and folded at 1″ on all 4 sides.

The patterned paper is the FREE set you can get only during Sale-A-Bration, called Sweet Sorbet.  This was a scrap that I had left on my desk from another project.  I like this particular paper because it lends itself nicely to masculine cards and projects.

Of course, I added a feminine touch using the banner stamp from the Language of Love  stamp set.  I love the little banner and pennant stamps in this set.
