Step Away From The Bermuda Bay Ma’am!

“Step away from the Bermuda Bay Ma’am!”

Those are the words that I needed someone to say to me!  I got stuck in a rut using that same color for every project I’ve made in the last couple of weeks!  It’s honestly my current favorite color to play with!

(Kip…if you’re reading this, at least I wasn’t making Valentine’s Day projects with the Bermuda Bay! You’ve been razzing me since December when I went on that Valentine’s Day project frenzy!)

My card today is a Million and One!

Okay…lots going on here!  The card sketch is from this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch.  I found this challenging as you will see in the video tutorial that accompanies this blog post.  I couldn’t get a single element on this card straight!  This is the second version and this is as straight as it’s going to get!  (It’s Tuesday…what can I say?!)

I elected to use the Sweet Sorbet Designer Paper that is Free during Sale-A-Bration, which ends on March 31!  Honestly, I love this paper.  I’ve stocked up…I may have enough of this paper to last the century.

The card base is Pistachio Pudding with a Smokey Slate mat on top.  I’ve used the So Very Grateful stamp set from the Occasions catalog and the Lots of Thanks and the Million and One stamp sets from the Annual Catalog.

You can see candy dots, rhinestones, the Word Bubble Framelits, the Banner Punch (Free during Sale-A-Bration!), the itty bitty punch pack and some rhinestones all have been used to create this card.

All of the dimensions can be found on the video!

Here is the sketch that I started with:

LOL I too sometimes stick to a favorite color. But, the color combination on this card is beautiful.  That DSP is super fun.
