Thankful Flowers With Alcohol Markers

Have you ever had a stamp set that you just couldn’t get enough of?

The Thankful Flowers stamp set from the Simon Says Card Kit has not moved from my studio table since I got it!

I just keep pulling out those fabulous florals to color with my alcohol markers.

Here is a single layer clean and simple card that I thought you might like.  I gave this a nice dark drop shadow to give it some dimension.  You can also see that I used those fabulous gold foil sticker letters that have a foam back.  What a quick and easy way to do a sentiment.

I just could not resist playing with the blues and greens in Altenew’s Set A Artist Markers.  I added a small piece of the Altenew thin gold foil washi tape and a piece of the My Mind’s Eye patterned paper that came in the card kit.

That sentiment also came in the Thankful Flowers stamp set.  I’ve added some white gel pen dots to the flower centers and some black splatters to the card.  The sequins are my finishing touch.

I felt like I really got my money’s worth out of this card kit.  You know that this stamp set is going in my favorite sets bin and it’s going to Florida with me when I retire.  You have to admit that there is something fabulous about a beautiful floral that you can practice your coloring skills.

I also plan to give it a try or two with some watercoloring and some heat embossing.

Could you resist?
