It’s time for the Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge!  Once again, I loved the sketch so much that I couldn’t limit myself to making just one card with the sketch!

I’m also so completely enamored with the Paisleys and Posies suite of products that I can’t put it away!

The sketch was just so perfect.  There were so many ways to adapt it to my own card making style.  Make sure you check out how the rest of the design team adapted it in their own ways at the Paper Craft Crew!

Here is my second card:

On the second card, I’ve added some of the copper foil as a die cut with the Paisleys Framelits.  You can also see that I tucked some of the copper metallic thread behind the sentiment.  (I love this sentiment!!)

For both cards, I’ve used the same papers, the same stamp set and the same color scheme.  You can see that they are very different cards!  The top card used more of the Mint Macaron and I’ve embossed it with the Petal Burst embossing folder.

For the other card, I’ve used more Very Vanilla and some of the gold metallic baker’s twine and mint ribbon from the trio packs in the holiday catalog.

I challenge you to give this week’s card sketch a try!  Why not share your creativity by linking your card to the Paper Craft Crew site and participating in the challenge?  The first couple of times you participate, it’s hard…but it gets easier every time you do it and your cards get better the more you do it!
