Trendy Card With The Paper Craft Crew Sketch!

This week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge was meant to be a bit more clean and simple than I made it!  I pulled out two of my favorite stamp sets and it just took off from there!

I’ve used the Kinda Eclectic stamp set along with the Ray of Sunshine stamp set.  I couldn’t resist doing this card in bright and happy colors.  I love the Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush and Crushed Curry  color combination.  The On Film Framelits are also fabulous, but I feel like I only remember to use them when a great sketch calls for it!

I also love the Essentials clip embellishment that I added to the bottom corner.  Instead of clipping it on, I attached it with a glue dot so that I had the entire fabulous clip showing.

You can also see the touch of Washi tape in the upper corner.  I just couldn’t resist adding that touch.  You can see from the sketch that I tilted my image, added the Washi tape and quite a bit more background than the sketch called for.

What can I say?  I cook this way to.  A recipe is merely a suggestion of ingredients to use!

Here is the original card sketch:
