Use Your Patterned Paper To Make A Quick and Easy Layered Card!

By | 10/13/2020

I have been using my patterned paper stash like there is no tomorrow.  I probably shouldn’t word it that way given that it is still 2020!

I actually took yesterday off from all creative endeavors.  I was honestly exhausted from participating in a 3 day virtual crop event.  I create 10 scrapbook layouts, participated in 5 Zoom sessions that were all at least 2 hours long or more, and I was exhausted by the end!

I met a lot of fun people and I do have to say that those live sessions and virtual events are one of the things keeping me from becoming a complete hermit this year.  It’s amazing how the internet is keeping us all connected and allowing us to create new friendships and new communities.

Thank goodness!!!  I’ve been married for 35 years and I enjoy my husband’s company…but it was really nice to do several Zoom sessions while scrapping all weekend and listening to other ladies chat about all kinds of topics!

I have a quick card to share today using a sketch layout and a color challenge!

This week’s Paper Craft Crew is a color challenge:

The sketch challenge is from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge for this week:

That’s a lot of layers!  This is a perfect sketch for you to use up your paper scraps!

The top layer is actually patterned paper that has been sitting in my stash for YEARS!  I’ve been using up my patterned paper like crazy.  I have actually used a tremendous amount of my patterned paper and I’m clearing off an entire shelf!

I love this pattern paper and I’m so happy that I’ve been able to finally use it.

We would love to have you create a card and share them on the challenges.  We love to see what you create and we love to leave comments!

Have a fabulous day my friends!!  I hope you are finding time for yourself and for your hobbies!

Be well.
