Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge for This Week

By | 10/08/2024

We have a fabulous sketch for this week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

This is a great sketch for fall!

I just realized this morning that I didn’t post my card to the challenge site.  I was very distracted over the weekend…our first grandchild was born on Sunday!  We have a sweet little granddaughter named Annie who weighed in at just over 8 pounds! Of course she’s absolutely beautiful!

I had to get my card together in a hurry.  No worries!

My desk is still covered with all the ephemera and notecard sets that I made during the World Card Making Day event with Stampin’ Up! on Saturday.

I pulled out a white notecard and envelope and selected a frame ephemera piece from the Something for Everything set.  I then pulled out 4 Fully Flowering ephemera bits and started laying them out.

I decided to mask the edges of the notecard with some low tack tape and I stenciled in the inside rectangle with one of the stencils from the Foursquare Decorative Masks set I got off the Clearance Rack.  I used a little Wild Wheat ink with my blending brush.

Once I removed the tape, I attached the frame and layered the florals on.  I selected a Hello sentiment from the Saying Something ephemera pack.  I finished off my card with some adhesive backed solid gems that I got on the Clearance Rack.

Card done!

We would love to have you join us this week for the challenge.
