I can’t stop playing with this paper! This is my 3rd video creating cards using this paper. I might actually use up the entire paper pack before the end of October!
This is an unusual layout for me! I’m trying some new sketches and layouts to make sure that I don’t get in a rut! I was inspired by some cards I saw on Pinterest, and I thought this paper would be perfect for this layout.
One way to keep card making simple is to use a great patterned paper and just add a sentiment!
I used some left-over pieces of the patterned paper and attached them to a card front made from Cajun Craze. The card base is cut at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″. I cut off a 3/4″ strip from the card front and used it for framing my sentiment.
I cut a Very Vanilla piece of card stock to 4 x 5-1/4″ for the inside of my card. I stamped along the right edge of the panel in Crumb Cake using the Wildflower Designs stamp set. This got attached to the inside of the card.
The designer series paper is cut to 3-1/2 x 5-1/2″ and attached to the front of the card.
I stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze and used my Labeled with Love punch to punch it out. I used the punch on the 3/4″ strip of Cajun Craze to punch a slice of paper to add to the top and bottom edge of the sentiment. I attached this with dimensionals to the card front over a piece of Wavy Trim I added with glue dots.
I added a few Solid Gems to finish off the card.
10 minutes with cutting and everything!
