I thought I’d share a couple more ideas for stamping on patterned paper!
I shared the Enjoy the Little Things card the other day, along with the cards that used embossed images on patterned paper:
The other paper patterns that I played with included a stripe that allowed me to stamp in the white space with a small sentiment. This is a great technique and it makes for a quick card because you aren’t cutting all kinds of layers and punching out sentiments.
I like this one. It’s a fairly clean and simple card! This is the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Paper.
I also wanted to play with another detailed background pattern, so I tried the Painter’s Pallet pad because while the pattern has a lot going on, the colors are muted and subtle. I picked the darkest color in the paper and used that as my sentiment color.
I like this, although I feel like it needs a bow or a knot! I do love my bows! I also like the way this paper looks with a good size sentiment stamped directly on to it! Fabulous!
These new papers and colors will be available on Wednesday when the new catalog goes live!!!
