Simple Stamping: Create a One Layer Card with this Easy Technique

I have a short video to share Technique 24 from my Technique Album!

I used a 1″ piece of low tack masking tape to cover the space I wanted to add the sentiment. Then I stamped my florals from the Textured Floral stamp set in Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock overlapping the tape along the top and bottom.

I removed the tape and added the sentiment and two lines along the edges of the stamping using my Black Stampin’ Write marker.

Simple one layer card!!

Another variation of this is to mask along the top edge and also along the bottom edge of the card, leaving a center panel open. I stamp my florals in the center space overlapping the tape.

Again, remove the tape and add the black lines and sentiment to finish your card.

I used the white notecards and envelopes to create these cards today.
