Yes, I Have Been Stampin’ Up! All Day!

By | 01/26/2013

I love when I have a day to myself just to be creative.  It is so relaxing.  There is something to be said about having hours just to rubber stamp and create handmade cards, scrapbooking pages and paper crafted projects and gifts.

paperresistI love the texture that the Big Shot gives to a card.  If you don’t have a Big Shot, what are you waiting for?  Immediately treat yourself to one now by clicking here!

I used my Big Shot (#113439) to create the embossed dotted background, which I love with hearts and lace!  I used the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (#117335) along with the Decorative Label Punch (#120907) to frame my sentiment, which came from the Seasonal Sayings stamp set (#128009).  I used Real Red, Crumb Cake and Whisper White card stock along with Real Red Ink.

I used the More Amore Designer Series Paper for the laser cut heart (#129309).  The paper strip just below the heart is piece of Natural Composition Specialty Paper (#126917) that has glossy, raised patterns printed on natural paper.  I sponged on Real Red ink…the glossy parts resist the ink!  I loved that technique so much, I made 3 very different cards using it.  You will see those cards later this week!
