Patricia Alvarez came out with the cutest set of whales recently and I couldn’t wait to color them. She makes such cute and whimsical digital images that are always fun to create with!
This set of 3 whales can be found in the Kinda Cute by Patricia shop online or on Etsy. You will find the links below!
I printed the whales and then colored them in with my Copics. My Brother Scan-n-Cut made quick work of cutting them out.
I had a cute die set from Sunny Studios that I have not yet used and this seemed like the perfect time to use them!
There are 3 dies in the set and I cut each one from a different shade of blue card stock. I did an ink blended sky with Spun Sugar distress oxide ink.
I added some white ink sponged on for clouds and one each of the blue waves to give some variation in the color of the water.
I added some white gel pen details hoping to create some sparkle in the water.
The sentiment is from a Gerda Steiner stamp set that has been in my stash for a bit of time! It seemed perfect for this card.
You can also see that I added 3 Crown Jewel Gems in Vegas Strip from Maker Forte just for fun!
Copic Combination:
Whales: B 99, 97, 95, 91 W 5, 3, 1
