It’s a nice set of foiled sentiment tags! There are 19 tags in all and they all have some foiling detail on them.
I made two cards using the stamps and dies, the patterned papers, the sentiment tags and the embellishments from yesterday.
This card shows a sneak peek of one of the new embossing folders you can get from the Jan-April Spring Mini Catalog that goes on sale on January 6-April 30. Isn’t it fabulous. This is called the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder.
I used a 2-1/2 x 4″ piece of one of the pretty papers in the DSP pack from Day 2. I die cut out the florals, leaves, and butterfly using the Day 1 dies, I stamped one of the stamp set sentiments on the Day 4 sentiment strips, and I used the Day 3 glitter gems from Day 3 to add some sparkle to my card.
I did add some linen thread and a 1-3/4″ circle of Basic Beige from my stash to finish off the card.
The inks used include Secret Sea, Misty Moonlight, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive and Crushed Curry.
My card base is cut at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″, and it is scored and folded at 4-1/4″. The embossed panel is cut at 4-1/8 x 5-3/8″.
My second card:
For this card, I embossed a piece of Basic Beige cut at 2-1/4 x 4″ with my Mini Corrugated embossing folder. I added some linen thread from my stash as well.
The DSP from the Day 2 gift is cut at 3-1/2 x 4-3/4″. I used the dies, sentiment tag, and the glitter gems from Days 1, 3, and 4.
I like this combination quite a bit! I always find white-on-white to be very elegant, like in my first card. The more rustic feel of this combination is also appealing to me.
I also finally pulled out the rainbow stamp die and played with the to create a set of notecards.
I used some left-over Basic Beige that I had trimmed from the Mini Corrugated embossed piece from my card above to serve as a background for 3 of the notecards. The other two have a small piece of the Dotted Burlap ribbon from my stash.
I die cut out one white rainbow stamp, a Cherry Cobbler, Darling Duck, Timid Tiger, and Pretty Peacock rainbow stamp as well. Then I mixed and matched the rainbow parts and glued them into the die stamp bases. I attached everything to the notecards and stamped my sentiment in Secret Sea below each.
The notecards come in a package of 20 pre-scored cards and they have coordinating envelopes. I like these when I need a quick note to send to someone. These will come in handy!
