I absolutely love the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration products. Between the Madison Avenue Stamp Set and the Sycamore Street Designer Series Papers and Ribbons, you can make amazing cards and gifts.
I am finding it absolutely IMPOSSIBLE! to make only one card at a time. My head is stuffed with card designs. I love every paper in the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper package. I love that it’s free when I purchase $50 of Stampin’ Up! supplies that I was going to order anyway. I also used the Madison Avenue stamp set and the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button embellishments. I used 3 free products from Sale-a-Bration!!
The materials I used that aren’t in the Spring Mini or the Sale-a-Bration brochure include:
Whisper White card stock, the 2011-2013 InColors card stock, along with the 2011-2013 InColors Inks, and the Perfectly Penned stamp set for the sentiment. I also used rhinestones to embellish my cards. Then there are the things you use that you never see in the card…the Stampin’ Trimmer, the Big Shot, the Apothecary Accents Framelits, my paper snips, snail, stampin’ dimensionals and my bone folder. My tools that I can’t craft without!!!

Need some ideas about where to start?
Browse through the catalogs and pick a stamp set that you love…I have so many favorites. Personally, I love sets that have images and sentiments like: Just Believe, Lacy and Lovely, My Friend, Easy Events, For the Birds. Henry Says…just to name a few. They offer such versatility.
Sentiment stamp sets are a must and my personal favorite set is Loving Thoughts. Perfectly Penned is a very close second!
If you have a couple of stamp sets and you are wondering what tools to start with…make sure you have a Stampin’ Trimmer, good paper snips and craft scissors and if you don’t have the Big Shot and a couple of embossing folders and framelit sets…I’m telling you, that you deserve them!!!
Just purchasing the Big Shot alone will get you 2 free Sale-a-Bration items! Plus, you really do need an embossing folder and at least one set of framelits. By the time you add some paper, ink or stamps you will be at $150. You get 3 free Sale-a-Bration items, $25 in free product and a package of Silver Glimmer Paper!
