Hello Papercrafty Friends! Welcome to Stamping Imperfection!
I am Kim Skinner…the gal behind Stamping Imperfection! This is me looking very relaxed because I’m retired now! I am a full time creator and loving every minute!
I welcome inquiries for guest design or design team work and can be contacted at kimberlyskinner@optonline.net!
I created Stamping Imperfection to share my love of crafting with other people. I would like this to be a source of inspiration to spark your creativity. I love to teach and I want to show you how to use all of those stamping and scrapping supplies that you are buying! My goal is to give you ideas and teach you techniques that you can use to make cards, scrapbooks and paper craft projects that you are proud to give and to display!! I have created my blog and my videos to help you find the same satisfaction in creating beautiful handmade items that I have found.

On a personal note, I have been blissfully married for 38 years and we have raised two amazing people!
I am very excited to share all the techniques I continue to learn with you. Please join me on a creative journey on which I hope to inspire you to create beautiful hand stamped cards, scrapbooks, and paper crafts.
Just remember to always embrace the imperfections! #embracetheimperfections

I’ve met you today via some of your videos on YouTube. Congratulations on your 28th anniversary in 2013! I have a son & his wife in CA who have celebrated 25 years of marriage this year.
I retired from teaching twenty-five years of sixth grade in 2000. I also taught five other years in non-public situations, some overseas for oil companies when I was married and my two sons were little. Now divorced and sons are 53 and 50 this year. I currently live in central PA.
I’ve signed up for your blog and confirmed my subscription. I’ve tried to sign up for your daily emails, but the window comes back that an error has been made and I should try again…it still does not go through. So, if you would, please, sign me up to receive your blog, newsletter, YouTube videos and any other stamping related items you produce. Many thanks.
Your videos are encouraging me to stamp again. I have lots (lots) of stamps and tools and accessories, but I seem to collect equipment rather than actually stamp. I do want to make cards again! I especially liked the video with your 3×3 gift cards and the second version with the 3×3 piece on the 5.5×4.25 card using the modern label & scalloped circle – 3 cards using old olive, melon mambo and marina mist.
My card style is mostly clean and simple (I’m a huge fan of LateBlossom (her name on SCS) and her blog called Simplicity. Your card design that I mentioned above is also my style…some layers, but not too many.
Your new fan,
M Carolyn Willisford

Hello M Carolyn Willisford!
I’m delighted that you found my blog. It sounds like you have signed up for my monthly newsletter successfully! You can also sign up for my daily blog updates using bloglovin.com. I can’t sign you up for that because it will ask you to create a password and confirm your subscription to that as well. You should be able to sign up for your other favorite blogs there as well and read them from your email all at once!! I just added the Bloglovin’ button because the old email Google reader is no longer being supported by Google.
I’m so glad to hear that you are stamping again!!! Doesn’t it feel wonderful to just lose track of time stamping and being creative? I hope that I keep inspiring you!
Happy stamping!
Kim
Thanks for the punch idea. I would never have thought about it. So glad I found you.
I am a retired teacher. I taught for 43 years in elementary school. I am like Carolyn W., I have lots of supplies but not much card making. By the way my first name is Carolyn.
Have you ever thought about publishing an e-book or guest authoring on other blogs?
I have a blog based upon on the same information you discuss
and would really like to have you share some stories/information.
I know my readers would appreciate your work. If you are
even remotely interested, feel free to send me an e mail.
Thank you!
hi Kim: I used to buy product from you when you were a SU! demonstrator — now I cannot figure out how to connect with you to ask you how or where do you get a polymer eraser?
Sounds like you are doing great on YouTube.
take care / stay safe / Nancy in northern MI
p.s. tried to send you an email at kim@stampingimperfection and it keeps coming back undeliverable…bummer
Hi Nancy!
I ordered my Tombow Mono Sand Eraser from Simon Says Stamp. It’s $2.99 and well worth having in your stash. It fixes a lot of ink smudges! Here is a link: https://shrsl.com/2fn3j
I had to get rid of that email address because having listed on the website was leading to a lot of spam and hacking attacks. You can reach me at stampingimperfection@gmail.com in the future.
I hope all is well!! It’s nice to hear from you. I know northern MI is beautiful this time of year. I took a physics class in Traverse City several years ago one summer and it was amazing. Be well!
Hello. I noticed you remarked that you use the Gemstones cardstock – the Crown Jewels of Cardstock. I love that cardstock and cannot find it anymore. Where do you purchase yours?
Thank you, Mary Lynn
I use Crown Jewel Gem embellishments and cardstock from Maker Forte. I have also been using cardstock from Cardstock Warehouse. Both are good!
