That’s right! I said it! Bite me! Stampin’ Up!’s new photopolymer stamp set is fun and it’s called “Bite Me”! At first I thought it was a tad on the rude side. As soon as I saw this set, I knew that I had to have it. I LOVE the spider web. It looks amazing embossed in black on black paper. Then of course there is a black cat and a spider. These are 3 images I thought were missing from the Halloween stamp sets featured in the Holiday Catalog. (You can view the catalogs by clicking on the catalog image in the sidebar to the right of this post!)
How great is this? They really did make an image that says, “Bite Me”. It fits in the 1-1/4″ circle punch! You’ve gotta love that! I layered this with two of the scallop circle punches. I also heat embossed that web with black embossing powder. The spider is just stamped in Black StazOn and cut out.
I contemplated embossing him in brown to look like the giant Orb Spiders we have everywhere outside the house. (I don’t walk out at night without a flashlight to shine around and look for webs! I feel like Vincent Price in the original “The Fly” movie when I get hung up in one of those webs that stretch from the tree to the ground!)
I also made some fun treat bags to fill with candy for my kids. I love these little bags from the annual catalog. They are perfect treat bags and look how great they are to stamp on and embellish.

This is one adorable stamp set with images that I know I will use for many Halloween treats! The best thing of all is that the photopolymer sets are only $13.95 and the images stamp beautifully. (I do find the stamp sets have a strong odor when I open the package. They do need some ventilation time!)

They don’t come in a case, but one of the new wood stamp set cases holds all of the photopolymer stamp sets that have been release so far.
