Sunny Studio Stamp Company is one of my favorites. I’ve been happy with everything that I’ve purchased and I’m just loving the cute stamp and die designs that they carry. I love their 6 x 6″ patterned paper stacks as well. They also carry my favorite Studio Katia embellishment mixes. Plus, they carry Versa Fine and Color Box ink pad collections, which I have been resisting!
They are having a really nice CyberMonday event. All orders receive a free word die (you need to indicate in the comment box of your order whether you prefer “sunshine”, “color”, or “sew” if you have a preference). All orders over $25 receive free shipping within the USA and 15% of all retail sales will be donated to the Convoy of Hope which you can learn more about HERE.
I have 3 cards and a video tutorial to share with you today using several of Sunny Studio stamps and dies.
The first card is made from a pretty layering Sunny Studio stamp set called Christmas Trimmings. Delightfully, this card gave me the chance to play with Altenew’s new green and chocolate ink sets!
That Pine Mountain ink is just perfect for pine boughs and Christmas trees.
I experimented with the holly layer colors to see which combination of 3 inks from the set of 4 Green Valley inks I preferred together. I liked the Firefly for the solid bottom stamp, Shadow Creek for the center stamp and the Pine Mountain for the top detail stamp the best. I used the Hazelnut for the bottom pine cone layer, the Almond Butter for the middle layer and Milk Chocolate for the top detail layer and the sentiment. I added a layer of clear embossing over the sentiment to give it some shine. I used Crimson and Velvet reds for the berries and added a white gel pen spot for a highlight.
The paper strip along the side is from Sunny Studio’s Holiday Cheer 6 x 6″ paper stack. I used the Fancy Frame circle die set to cut out the circle and create the scallop frame. I added iridescent sequins and some Aqua Shimmer pen for a little glitter touch that is impossible to catch in the video or in a photo.
The second card is similar to a card I created in October when I was guest designing on another blog.
I just could not get a good photo of this. I just ordered a better camera and I’m starting a photography class this week!
This card is made from the Sunny Studio Here Comes Santa stamp set and the Fancy Frames circle dies. I created a night sky scene with falling snow using the Frosty Flurries set and white heat embossing it. I love the little scallop frame! I used the same paper and sentiment on this card and I really love the little scene.
You can actually see the aqua shimmer pen on this photo!
All cards should have some shine or some sparkle!
