I love this sketch. It feels like a classic layout that you could use over and over again with so many different stamp sets.
I chose to do a Christmas themed card today.
The stamp set that I used for this is the Winter Scenes stamp set. It has 4 lovely winter scenes to choose from. I picked the cabin in the woods.
I created my background by ink blending Granny Apple Green and Cloud Cover ink. Then I stamped my scene in StazOn ink. I used my watercolor pencils with my blender pen to color the scene. I added snowy details with my white gel pen.
The sentiments are from the Christmas sentiment ephemera pack. The plaid patterned paper is from the Christmas Tags & More Mix and Match Specialty 6 x 6″ set. I think it is a perfect background for this snowy scene.
I also used some Early Espresso and Crumb Cake card stock to finish my card. A few Traditional Sparkling Sequins add a special touch as well.
