It’s time for a new sketch on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog for this week!
I loved the look of this sketch, so I followed it exactly! I usually modify something on the sketch, but I really liked this one!!
I participated in Stampin’ Up!’s Virtual Card Retreat 2026 last week and I really had a great experience. I decided to use some of the stamp and dies from the kit we received to make my card.
I started by finding an old clear rectangular block that fit on my card front. I traced around it 3 times, then free handed another 3 rounds with my journaling pen, assuring that they were not perfect!
I added some background stamping with a distressed word stamp from the kit and a splatter stamp from the kit. I added some extra fine splatter with my Stampin’ Write black marker. I die cut the pieces for the sentiment and the leaves from the die set in the kit. I added a little color to the leaves with my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the sentiment from the January Product of the Month stamp set that is called fabulous sayings. What a great deal on that stamp set! $5 with a $75 purchase! Love it!
Once I adhered the sentiment labels, I added a Berry Burst stamped floral from the kit. The entire panel got added to a Berry Burst card base. You can also see the 3 enamel dots that I added from the kit as well.
The kit from the Virtual Card Workshop provided so many left-over supplies that I will be using to make more cards and scrapbook layouts with.
We received two stamp sets in the kit and one die set. One stamp set is an exclusive set just for the retreat participants.
