When my children were younger, I used to treat myself to a couple hours away stamping with the crafty ladies in town every now and then. It was so nice to have a relaxing two hours on a Saturday afternoon crafting with a group of other women! My Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Peggy, used to have these great Stamp-A-Stack events at her house. She always had new techniques and products for us to try. Plus, Peggy made gorgeous cards and she displayed them in scrapbooks. I really loved those afternoons and I always got hooked on every stamp set that we used!!! Whatever we played with, I bought. ( I did say that I was treating myself on those afternoons!!! I did it right! A couple hours away stamping and some goodies to play with later at home!)
Many of the stamping techniques I learned, I learned from Peggy. What a gift to give someone! There is nothing better than having someone give you their time, attention and their expertise. (Not to mention the gift of two relaxing hours at her nice tidy house with no small children needing my attention!) Today’s card reminds me of those stamping afternoons. I used my blender pens…and yes, I bought them from Peggy all those years ago! I still have those products and stamp sets and I still use them!!
