Since I am totally in the mood to make very clean and simple (CAS) cards, I decided to pull out a stamp set that I got on a demonstrator preorder called Pop-Up Petals.
This is a stamp and die set that I think will make some cute CAS notecards for my stash to send to friends and family.
This set is already available in my Stampin’ Up! store at ShopWithKim.net!
I stamped the vase in Blueberry Bushel then used a black journaling pen around the outer edge to define the image. I stamped the flower in black by masking off the vase, so the flower appears to be inside the vase. It’s actually a very long stemmed rose!
I did color in the rose with Melon Mambo and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.
I used my Crumb Cake blends to stipple around and under the vase so that it appeared to be grounded.
My sentiment is stamped in black and is from the Simply Said stamp set.
The card is finished off with 3 little pearls.
Easy peasy!!
This stamp set is going to make some sweet notecards for spring correspondence.
I hope you are finding time to relax today. Thank you so much for stopping by to see what I’ve been up to in my craft room today!
