Create Two Quick Cards With Sweet Dreams!

Stampin’ Up! does a masterful job of creating product suites of coordinating papers, stamps, ribbons and embellishments.  One of the prettiest of the season is called Sweet Dreams.  This set has a coordinating designer series paper set, designer buttons, washi tape and even a stamp set!

I’ve selected a different stamp set to use with these coordinating products.  Stampin’ Up! released a fabulous new photopolymer stamp set a couple of weeks ago called Lovely Amazing You.  I couldn’t resist pairing it with this sweet paper!

Since I had everything out, I created two cards at once using the same papers and the same layout.

I love the colors in this designer paper.  The Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Sahara Sand combine beautifully for a serene color palette with a pop of color.

I love two things about the stamp set:  the script font and the feather image!  I used the stamping off technique with the Sahara Sand ink so that it gave me a lighter image to overlay with the sentiment.  I really like the effect!

For this card, I used the coordinating washi tape along with the designer buttons.  I love the stitched outline on the Lost Lagoon button!  It’s such a great touch.

Card Recipe:

• Lost Lagoon:  Cut two at 4-1/4 x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
• Sahara Sand:  Cut two at 4-1/8 x 5-3/8″
• Sweet Dreams:  Cut 4 at 2-5/8 x 4″
• Whisper White:  Cut 2 Two inch circles
