I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Crushed Curry given how much I loved More Mustard. Well, my verdict is in and I love it! I really love the color refresh that Stampin’ Up! did with this new Annual Catalog. I feel like the color families make so much more sense now.
Of course, I do think there are a couple of colors missing. I would love to see a deep hunter green for evergreen trees. I also feel like there are a couple of yellows missing. A super bright yellow and a buttery yellow (like my living room and kitchen walls…ahh!). Here is the array of yellow’s that Stampin’ Up! has:
This is the Betsy’s Blossoms stamp set with a sentiment from Happy Day. Very simple card, perfect for a beginner! You can see the range of yellows: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Summer Starfruit and So Saffron. These are interesting yellows and the make amazing accents to other colors.
For this card, I’ve used four basic colors: Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point, Old Olive and Crushed Curry! Notice the Crushed Curry just serves as an accent to the ink in the image. I feel like just a touch peeking out here and there really makes the colors of the card really pop.

I appreciate your thoughtful ideas and opinions. I really liked how you stamped the flowers in crushed curry and pumpkin pie! It made the flowers look real. I wouldn’t have thought to do that. Thank you
Thank you so much for the lovely comment!!! I wasn’t sure I would like the Crushed Curry, but it really works with other colors!
