Instead of stamping and blogging over the weekend, I had an absolutely wonderful weekend with my son! We went to check on his new apartment and do some furniture shopping. I was very surprised at how choosy a 20 year old guy can be about furniture and lighting. I had no idea that he had such strong opinions about decorating and color selection. I was also surprised to find out how sophisticated and somewhat trendy his taste is. Needless to say, it was exhausting shopping and carrying, and then washing and putting it all away. Instead of writing my blog post, we had dinner and watched a movie in his new place. It was pretty exciting for both of us!
The card that I had planned to post for Saturday morning is one from a color challenge that I tried. The colors include Calypso Coral, Summer Starfruit and Soft Sky. I know! Yet another set of colors that I might never have created a card design with if not for the color challenge!

I ended up liking this color combination. I really like the Summer Starfruit with the Calypso Coral. I can see myself combining them with Early Espresso or Soft Suede once Fall gets here!!!
