It’s time to make the Christmas gifts!
I have been pulling some goodies out of my stash to start creating little gifts for friends and family. Today I found a little mini album that I thought would be a perfect backdrop for my Santa and Fireplace Digital Stamp from Kinda Cute by Patricia.
I love this Santa and Fireplace digital stamp. This is one digital image and you can get it with Santa in the fireplace and without. This is a great background image that you can use to add other digital images to and create your own little scene. Add a Christmas tree or a family with children opening Christmas presents. Patricia has all kinds of holiday images in her shop that you could layer on top of this one!
I added it to the front of the album by attaching it to a piece of black cardstock that I used a scallop punch on one side and added some lace and ribbon for a more decorative touch. I layered that on top of a piece of Catherine Pooler patterned paper that I love and it allowed me not to add a sentiment or title.
Here is another fun thing you can do with your digital images…or even your stamped images: You can scan them into your computer and then print out several copies. My original image was a little too large for the front of this album, so I scanned it in and resized it to fit on the front of the album. I plan to frame the original for a nice little Christmas decoration for my desk.
I love that I was able to use several things from my stash to create this little album. I think this will be cute sitting on the coffee table for people to browse through. I actually have plastic sleeve page protectors to protect the photos inside. Plus, now I have this image scanned and saved on my computer, so if the front get’s wet or damaged, it is easy to print another copy and replace it.
