Give your Halloween cards a glossy look with clear embossing powder and heat embossing!

Can you see the black word bubble mat behind my sentiment?  That is a piece of basic black card stock cut out with the Word Bubble Framelits and then stamped with Versa Mark ink, covered with clear embossing powder and then melted with the heat tool.

I added this touch around the edges of my card base as well!

I did quite a bit of heat embossing on this card.  It’s such a fun and easy way to add a WOW factor to your cards.  The spiders, the web and the sentiment are all embossed with the black embossing powder.  The card edges and the Word Bubble Framelit which I’ve used as the mat for my sentiment are embossed with clear embossing powder.  The clear powder allows for the color of your ink or paper to show through.  You can essentially get the color  you want by using the clear powder.
