I’m so excited!  I was invited to be a guest designer for STAMPlorations for their Throwback Thursday feature from January-March 2021.  As a guest designer, I was given a coupon code to share with my blog readers and YouTube followers!

When you order from STAMPlorations, use code: STAMPGIRLKIMBERLY to get 20% off your order.  You can use it as many times as you like as well!!

I’m so excited to have a coupon code to share with you!

I also couldn’t wait until January 21 to share some projects with you using some of the STAMPlorations products that I selected.

I was in heaven browsing the stencil selection along with all the fabulous stamps and dies.  It’s so hard to choose when you have a crafty budget to stick to!

I created two slimline cards with 4 products to share with you today and I have a video tutorial for the technique I used with the stencils.

Stamplorations Stencil Technique

I used some Glitz Glitter Gel and some Vicki Boutin Glaze along with embossing powder and I love the effect it gave me!

Card 1:

For this card I used the ARTplorations Artsy Swirls Slimline Stencil with the Vicki Boutin Rose Gold Glaze and Altenew’s Rose Gold Embossing Powder.  I loved this stencil.  I think it will make great wave backgrounds and swirling snow backgrounds.  Here is just made an awesome mixed media background!

The fabulous saying is one of the stamp sets in the Say It Big series called Life is Art.  I LOVE this quote and the artsy feel of it seemed perfect for the mixed media background.

The birds came from a stamp set in The Bee’s Knees series called Small Birds.  I really loved the artsy feel of this set of 5 birds.  I just thought they were irresistible!

I colored them in with my Copic Markers.  You will find the combinations below.

I also used this week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge as my guide for the card layout.

How pretty is that background?

I used the Gina K. Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel that I got in a craft kit and some Nuvo Serenity Blue embossing powder and this is sparkly!

This card uses the ARTplorations  Slimline stencil called All Swirls.  I selected this stencil because I think it is perfect for mixed media projects and I love it.

This one uses two more of the bird images from the Small Birds stamp set.  My sentiment is from one of the CUTplorations dies called Big Hugs.  I actually die cut it 3 times and glued them together so they would have some dimension on the background.

The card also uses my Sunny Studio Slimline scallop die as well.

I really loved this background.  That combination really screams snow!  I will definitely be doing both of these combinations again.  I love that when I heat set them, the glaze reacted very differently than the glitz gel!
