I have not played with the Halloween stamp sets enough so far this season. The Halloween Cookie Cutter set and the Jar of Haunts has really kept me occupied! Today I played with the Spooky Fun images. I’ve been using the sentiments from this stamp set because I didn’t think the other sets had enough fun sentiments for Halloween. The Spooky Fun set is packed with sentiments that fit in the banner frames and the Classic Label punch.
I combined this with the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Paper, the Halloween Night Enamel Dots and the Trio Pack of Ribbon. Isn’t that foil spider web fabulous? That’s one of the specialty papers in the pack!
The Spooky Fun has a coordinating thinlet set to cut out the fun shapes in the stamp set. That coordinating thinlet set makes it so quick and easy to cut out the witch, pop her on a dimensional and add a special touch to the card. The moon and the scallop mat are cut from the Layering Circles Framelits. I just love that set. If you look back over my cards for the last two weeks, you will set that I’ve used those framelits quite a bit. They seemed so pricey when I added them to my shopping cart, but they have been worth every penny!
I also heat embossed the sentiment to make it really pop on the card. That’s always a nice touch with sentiments.
I’m entering this card in this week’s What Will You Stamp Challenge. The challenge is to use the Spooky Fun stamp set!
