I have a quick share today! I just received the April Not 2 Shabby Shop subscription kit.
As soon as I opened it, I just had to play with it!
Isn’t that small blue gingham check fabulous with the strawberries?
This month there were 3 stamp sets included in the kit. One of the stamp sets is always very whimsical. I’m trying to embrace my whimsical side, so I started with the Berry Sweet stamp set.
You can see how fun these images are! I colored these in with Copic markers and added some white gel pen details. I took a class in March on adding those white gel pen details. It was a valuable class to take and it definitely increased my confidence in adding those highlight details.
You can see all the gel pen details I added to the strawberry. Aren’t those sprinkles included in the kit fabulous? These are the strawberry shortcake sprinkles from Kat Scrappiness.
I added a scalloped frame detail to the shaker element on the card front. This was created with the Reverse Scallop Mini Slimline Rectangles from Kat Scrappiness. You can see all the details on how to make the shaker element on my video below!
