Product Focus: Celebrate Together Scrapbook Workshop Kit Day 5

Today’s double page layout is the simplest one that I created using the Celebrate Together Scrapbook Workshop Kit and the Celebratory Sips Suite of products.

I did some stash busting with this double page layout today!

I used the Cloud Cover star DSP on a piece of Close to My Heart Harbor card stock. It was the closest color I had to the new Stampin’ Up! Secret Sea paper. I don’t have that in 12 x 12″ paper yet!

I trimmed the DSP down to 11″ square and attached it to that gorgeous dark background. I cut a piece of the Cloud Cover card stock from the kit into 4 six-inch squares. I used 3 of the squares and inked the edges with the Secret Sea ink to help them pop off the DSP. I added them overlapping to create diamonds. My photo mats are added with some Secret Sea card stock to back them.

I pulled out some foam alphabet stickers and hearts and added them to my page.

I kept this very simple!

My coordinating layout uses all the same supplies. Instead of 3 squares at an angle, I used a larger square and added 4 photo mats that are 3 x 4″. I plan to fill these pages with photos of my granddaughter!!

Sometimes, you can just make easy layouts!!

What if I hadn’t had some quick foam letters and hearts to add to my layout?

I have several sets of Alphabet Stamps in my stash in a variety of font sizes, type faces, and styles. I could have stamped out the words right onto the paper or onto white card stock. You can stamp them as a title strip or you can fussy cut out the letters and attach with some dimensionals.

I could also use one of the different alphabet die sets that I have in my stash as well. I used them over and over so they have always been worth the hefty price tag that comes along with alphabet dies!

For today though, I used some of the foam sets I had in my stash. I want to use up the things that I’ve purchased so every few layouts, I try to pull out some of those alpha stickers and use them.
