Create a great beach inspired all occasion card. The Serene Scenery 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper Stack has fantastic real image scenes and backgrounds that make it look like you are using a photo or a piece of fabric on your card.

For this card, I stamped directly on to the designer paper using Early Espresso ink and this fabulous Layering Love sentiment. I really love the large sentiments when I am stamping directly on to the designer paper. Here you can see that I’ve used a dark color to stamp on the image. This would have looked great stamped and embossed in white as well.
I actually have the starfish covered in Wink of Stella glitter pen. You can’t see it in the photo, but it gives it a shimmery, sparkly touch in person that is quite pretty. I’m always surprised at how fast the Wink of Stella dries.
This is a great set of designer papers because they are 6 x 6″ and you get 48 sheets with a huge variety of patterns and images. Somehow, I don’t feel as guilty cutting into a 6 x 6″ page compared to a 12 x 12″ sheet of designer paper.
This is also the first time that I’ve used the Picture Perfect stamp set and I was really surprised at how big that starfish stamp was! WOW! I love adding the pearls for an extra touch. I also love the little tab of Island Indigo card stock at the top with the two pearls. It’s a great way to add a little something extra to a card with that sliver of scrap paper sitting on your craft table!

- Whisper White 4-1/4 x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″, 4 x 4″ piece to stamp and fussy cut starfish
- Island Indigo cut at 4-1/8 x 5-3/8″, plus 1/4 x 1″ scrap
- Crumb Cake cut at 3-7/8 x 5-1/4″
- Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper stack cut at 3-3/4 x 5″
- Burlap Ribbon about 4″
- Bermuda Bay stitched ribbon about 4″
