I have another sketch challenge from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!
This isn’t one of the weeks my team is scheduled to create a card for the sketch challenge, but this is one of my favorite card layouts. I decided to play along!
I’m still playing with the Mix & Match Christmas cards & envelopes, tag & more, and the greetings. I have all the stuff out and I just have been creating with this kit for a couple of weeks.
I used one of the pre-made card bases and added a 2-1/2 x 6-1/4″ piece of Pecan Pie topped with a 2-1/4 x 6-1/4″ piece of white. I popped the smaller Christmas ornament ephemera pieces up on dimensionals and added some journaling pen strings and bows.
You can also see that I ink blended Soft Sea Foam around the edges of the white panel, so it wasn’t so stark. I also added a little ink around each of the ornaments. I used Pecan Pie for that just to give some contrast and dimension with the ink blended background.
I pulled out the Traditional Sparkling Sequins and added a bunch of them in different sizes and colors. Gotta have a little bling for the holidays!
