Did you see the Umbrella Days stamp set when it was released as an Online Exclusive a few months ago?
I purchased it because we’ve had such rainy springs the last 3 or 4 years. I expect to be in the mood to create cards with rainy scenes!
I decided to make one today using my Stampin’ Blends and a blender brush.
There were several different blue shades of Stampin’ Blends used on this card. I made the umbrella and jeans darker like denim and then I made the puddle lighter like water. I also used some Crumb Cake Blends to create the ground. The sky is created with Pool Party and a touch of Smokey Slate ink blended with a brush. Those raindrops are created by a stamp in the set using Lost Lagoon.
My layers include my Basic White panel, Azure Afternoon, Beautiful Bokeh, and Smoke Slate for the card base.
I added a few Iridescent Pearls that I colored with a Stampin’ Blend marker, and some nice twine from the Pack Your Bags Twine Three Pack.
